May 2024 – Little Down House, Bournemouth

Scales was commissioned to complete lime plaster restoration at Little Down House, a Grade 1 listed property owned by J.P. Morgan & Chase Bank. Built in 1750, the building’s walls had been covered with non-breathable materials, causing mould and decay. We used St Astier R100 lime eco plaster to restore its health and prepare it for a high-end decorative finish. Main Contractor: Mace Group Ltd
